1.       Audits of Statutory Compliances:

 

Principal Employers & Contractors are mandatorily required to adhere to the Rules and Regulations of various applicable enactments relating to Labour Law. Further, Contractors must ensure that they are in complete compliance with all the applicable enactments so that consequences of default in doing so does not affect the Principal Employer. Therefore in order to avoid such legal consequences, the Principal Employer conducts periodical audits of contractors' statutory compliances in respect of the workmen deployed by the Contractor at the premises of Principal Employer

 

In this regard the Auditors appointed by the Principal Employer commonly examines following documents and records to identify the instances of non-compliances if any due to which legal consequences, affecting the Principal Employer, may arise:

 

THE CONTRACT LABOUR (R&A) ACT, 1970

1.       Copy of License, if applicable

2.       Notice of Commencement & Completion in Form-VIA

3.       Pay Slip need to be issued to each workmen

4.       Muster Roll-cum-Wage Register in Form-II

5.       Stamp & Sign of the Authorised Representative on Form-II

6.       Date of Payment of Wages (Copy of Bank Transfer)

7.       Identity Card need to be issued to each workmen

8.       Register of Workmen in Form-XIII, if applicable

9.       Register of Overtime in Form-XXIII, if applicable

10.   Register of Advances, Deduction & Fine, if applicable

11.   Wages need to be paid as per the prescribed rate

12.   Notice Showing rates of wages, if applicable

10.   To  Inspections & Visits by the Labour Department as follows:

(a)   Check Notices issued by Labour Inspectors to the Client

(b)   Conveying the requirements of the Notices to the Client

(c)   Keep a check on compliances made by the Client

 

11.   To Systematize and Regularize compliances under various applicable Enactments of Labour Law

 

12.   To provide Periodical Compliance Status Report to the client which will update the Management with all the updates relating to the compliance & non-compliances under various enactments of Labour Law
